FIRST in economic and community development.
FIRST for our children, who are our future leaders.
FIRST for quality of life.

“I work hard every day, whether it be at home, at work, or on the farm. I work hard because I want to set an example for my girls on what a contributing member of the community looks like. I want them to be active as they grow up, and not be intimidated to get involved. Seeking this seat isn’t a step on the political ladder or a job for me, it’s an opportunity to get involved and have a voice in the future of Weakley County. My goal is to leave my home in better shape than it ever has been for my family, and our future generations. It’s time we start to put Weakley County first, and I look forward to starting on day one to get the job done.”

- John Robert Freeman

All roads lead to Weakley County for John Robert Freeman. It’s where he was raised as the 7th generation to operate Freeman Cattle Company, it’s where he went to Weakley County Schools and UT Martin, it’s where he serves his community as a former Election Commissioner and current County Commissioner, and most importantly it’s where he and his wife, Amanda, have chosen to put down roots and raise their own family. He puts Weakley First in all he does, and it’s where he plans to continue to serve as your
County Mayor.
